By means of the alpha  SIP telephones of the FMN communications GmbH, you make calls via the Internet conveniently. The use of the worldwide SIP standard guarantees the future and investment security. By keeping the worldwide spread SIP standard, the compatibility with other SIP telephones and appropriate PC communications software is given.

For using the Internet telephony, you have to register at a Voice-over-IP provider and you have to have a broadband access, in Germany usually a DSL access with volume tariff or flatrate.

The putting into operation is very easy. You only have to enter the SIP account data via a web browser for the functioning. The IP address is usually assigned dynamically via DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol) by the DSL router. Further settings, like for example telephone directory, can also be made conveniently via a web browser.

With two telephones, you can even make internal calls at your DSL access. For making telephone calls, you need neither server nor PC since the alpha  SIP telephones work independently with shared intelligence.

The software of the alpha  SIP can easily be updated and, if necessary, extended.
