The Avaya 2420 Digital Telephone is an advanced IP ready system handset, compatible with some 600 communication features built into the Avaya Communication Manager software. The Avaya 2420 has an extra large 7 line x 29 character LCD to provide highly visible caller display, call control with 24 call appearance/feature buttons, and overall access to the packed feature menus of the communication manager.

Online electronic downloads provide near-instant key product upgrades and feature enhancements as they are published. High volume features for call logging and a 104 memory speed-dial directory help enhance overall productivity by providing users with the tools needed for more effective call tracking and faster outbound calling capabilities on a higher volume scale.
